Alert Logic, a provider of Security-as-a-Service for the cloud, today launched the Cloud Acceleration Partner Program (CAPP), enabling technology partners to deliver their security solutions as fully-managed security services. Participating in Alert Logic's CAPP allows leading security solution providers to offer their products as cloud-based Security-as-a-Service solutions. Alert Logic's approach to providing Security-as-a-Service through the cloud enables an entire new class of fully managed cloud-based security offerings for business customers.

Alert Logic announced that Rapid7, the leading provider of security risk intelligence solutions, is a charter CAPP Partner. Rapid7 and Alert Logic have partnered to deliver vulnerability management, enabling Payment Card Industry Approved Scanning Vendor scans delivered as a managed service to the Alert Logic customer base. This service is available through all of Alert Logic's hosting and cloud service provider partners.

Powering CAPP is the Alert Logic Security-as-a-Service Platform, which provides rich APIs to ingest, correlate and analyze security data from individual security tools. By integrating with the Alert Logic Security-as-a-Service platform, CAPP partners leverage the power of Alert Logic's 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) for expert human analysis and review, turning security data into actionable insight and recommendations. The Alert Logic Security-as-a-Service Platform provides the necessary integration capabilities and automated processes for CAPP Partners to weave their solutions into the fabric of cloud and service provider operations. CAPP Partners automatically get access to a number of pre-requisites for working with cloud and hosting service providers, including provisioning, decommissioning, support integration, pricing and billing, all presented to customers through a unified Web user interface or integrated with partner self-service portals.

The CAPP brings new channels of distribution to market for security vendors. It also provides enterprises with new and more efficient ways to achieve their security and compliance goals for their IT infrastructure, whether its stays on-premise or resides in the cloud environments of the most recognized names in the service provider industry.

These offerings include Alert Logic Threat Manager, Alert Logic Log Manager and Alert Logic's Managed Security Services, ActiveWatch and LogReview.
