Victims of Hurricane Katrina Can Use Discounted Service to Recover Data From Damaged Computers
Sep. 9, 2005 03:31 PM
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Data Recovery Group (DRG) is offering any victims of Hurricane Katrina discounted services to recover data from their hard drives. If computers are damaged by flying debris, fire or water, there is a chance that the data can be recovered. DRG offers this service to Hurricane Katrina victims anywhere in Southern Florida and Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana.
"We realize that a disaster such as a hurricane affects people at a personal level. We believe in offering timely services at reasonable prices in such cases. Quick, effective management of a hard drive crisis can make all the difference in averting both data loss and personal hardship," said Michael Ahern of DRG.
DRG recommends that if there is water damage to a hard drive that the drive be removed and placed in a sealed plastic bag with a damp rag or a sponge. DRG technicians can take the hard drive at that point and begin the data recovery process.
Data Recovery Group, a leader in data recovery technology, has been in business since 1987 with multiple labs across the country to serve its clients.
