SYS-CON Media's Wireless Business & Technology Magazine Named Lead Launch of the Year By Folio Magazine
SYS-CON Media's Wireless Business & Technology (WBT), Featured in Folio Magazine's Current Issue As Lead Launch, Will Debut Its

Las Vegas, NV, March 20, 2001 - SYS-CON Media announced today (www.sys-con.com.) its Wireless Business & Technology magazine (www.wbt2.com) was featured as the "Lead Launch" in Folio Magazine's current issue. Earlier in the year, WBT's Founding Editor and Editor-in-Chief, Robert Diamond, was named among the top thirty magazine industry executives in the world under the age of 30. Last year, before its relaunch, SYS-CON purchased all assets of WBT from Phillips International under an undisclosed financial arrangement. SYS-CON will integrate readership from Phillips and more than 43,000 current subscribers will be offered subscriptions to Wireless Business & Technology.

The premier issue of Wireless Business & Technology hit newsstands in January as the first and only wireless publication on the newsstands and sold more than 40,000 copies in less than four weeks. According to the data obtained from Curtis Circulation Company, SYS-CON's national distributor and the largest magazine distributor in the world, WBT is tracking to be the best-selling new magazine title of the year.

Originally planned as a bimonthly publication, WBT will be published every month with its April issue, unveiled today at CTIA's Wireless 2001 show in Las Vegas.
