SYS-CON's First Quarter 2001 Revenues Increased by 65% with Better-than-Projected Advertising, Subscription, and Newsstand Sales

Montvale, NJ, April 22, 2001 -- SYS-CON Media announced today its First Quarter 2001 advertising sales results. Ad page count and sales increased 65% compared to the first quarter of 2000. The increase in ad sales comes from the company's flagship magazines, Java Developer's Journal, Wireless Business & Technology, and XML-Journal, and a 70% increase in overall online advertising sales. SYS-CON follows the calendar year as its fiscal year of operations. Total quarterly revenues will be available at the end of this month.
