Ex-CA CEO Loses Bid to Get Sprung Early
His lawyer may try another tack and see if he can get the full circuit to review the case

Last week, practically three years to the day that the doors of the Federal Correctional Center in Fairton, New Jersey - a very unpleasant place - slammed behind him, former CA CEO Sanjay Kumar's bid for a reduction of his 12-year sentence was denied by a federal appeals court.
His lawyer may try another tack and see if he can get the full circuit to review the case.
Kumar and former CA sales chief Stephen Richards are in the calaboose for CA's infamous "35-day month," the practice of holding the quarter open until the company met its bogey.
Richard's seven-year sentence is going to be reviewed because the judge didn't give him points for taking responsibility.
