"This session will demonstrate practical means of building these new types of applications, focusing on the key issues, specific best practices, and lessons learned for their creation and deployment," he writes. "We will look at techniques for fusing Azure, EC2, and on-premis data and services using semantic data, cloud based orchestration and rich Internet client and mobile technologies to rapidly create applications previously not possible with existing enterprise systems."
Michael Heydt is senior manager with SunGard Consulting Services' Advanced Technologies Group, where he builds energy and financial trading systems using Microsoft .NET, RIA and cloud computing. He is formerly adjunct faculty for the University of Denver, holds master's degrees from Drexel University (Computer Science) and the University of Pennsylvania (Technology Management), and has over 20 years of experience building software systems.
