Threat and fraud was once the sole domain of men in trench coats. However, they are now found in areas including employee screening, benefit claims, identity theft, and many more. Clearly, these areas are still at the forefront of Government homeland security, services and benefits efforts, but this session will bring the discussion to the everyday business environment. Marne E. Gordan is a Regulatory Analyst for IBM’s Corporate Security Strategy Group, where she is responsible for maintaining intelligence on prevalent regulations and standards related to information security and IT governance. Previously, she was Director of Regulatory Affairs for Cybertrust, where she built the information security and privacy compliance practice and managed industry relations in financial services and health care, as well as the Federal Government and International markets. Gordan has authored a number of white papers on security and privacy, numerous articles on security standards and Federal regulations, and is a regular contributor to leading technology publications.
